Check your barnyard. Cattle like any other creature are susceptible to accidents. In the following 3 pictures we see a common problem with concretebarnyards, holes that have eroded out from damage or frost. New animals and particularly 2 year olds not used to this area are prone to leg and foot injuries. This ranges from mild sprains or, cut dewclaws or torn toes(ranging from mild to severe) Take time to examine your barnyard and re concrete these danger areas for both your animals and your farm personnel's benefit. back to issues
