The 2007 Conference This year the Conference was held at the Nottawasaga Inn in Alliston, ON With among the speakers: Deborah Whale , who spoke on Bio Security Ann Godkin (DMV, OMAF), who spoke on Disease prevention Gerard Cramer (DMV), who spoke on his research study concerning lameness in cattle in Ontario David Craig, who spoke on Nutrition related to Hoof Health Terry Ainsworth, who spoke on Concrete and Cattle Vic Daniel, who spoke on Genetic and Enviromental Influences on Trimming Peter Kudelka, who was responsible for the Kit Talk There was a banquet held with a live aution to raise some funds for the Guild. All was great fun. On the practical side of things we had a hoof trimming demonstration from Hank van der Post, Dave Schwartz and Kiyoshi Kamei on Show and Corrective Trimming. John Peeters from Holstein Canada was on hand and explained the different aspects of feet and leg scoring concerning classification. He also gave a demonstration on show trimming the old fashion way. All this was very informative.
