Claw Cross Section
Looking inside a well maintained normal and healthy claw
An overgrown stress sole. Notice the uplifted ridge pressing
into the corium layer and the bad angle of the P3 or coffin bone (the bottom bone of the claw)
Shows the damage of a corn between the toes of the foot.
The corn shows itself as a tissue bulge between the toes at the top front of the foot.
Its' pink tissue extends all the way along the coronet(top of the claw hairline).
Above that is a yellow mass of fat tissue that expanded over 1/2" or 2cm.
above the cut line once we cut the leg section open indicating the degree of pressure
that the claw must be under.
